Horizon Agriculture is a rapidly developing UK company that specialises in the production of unique agricultural machinery, designed for for the implementation of conservation, direct drilling and regenerative agriculture. In the offer direct seeding (no-till) seed drills, precision drills, front tanks and strip-till cultivators and seed drills
Our team is:
Our aim is to help farms in Latvia to implement sustainable, efficient and soil-conserving technologies that deliver results both in the short and long term.

The basic design is 4 m, but by extending the seeder frame, working widths of 4.8 / 6 / 6 / 6.4 / 7.2 and 7.5 m are possible. This means that if a 4 m seeder has been purchased and the farm wishes to extend the working width in the future, it is possible to do so without buying a new seeder. Additionally, for 8 m and 9 m working widths, the seeder is equipped with a 3 m fixed central frame and the wings are hydraulically foldable for seeder transportation. There are also 3 m and 4 m wide fixed frames.
Each seeder unit on the seed drill is attached using a parallelogram mechanism, which has an effective copying stroke of 370 mm and is equipped with a hydraulic cylinder that allows the downforce on the coulter to be adjusted.
Depending on the number of seed rows, the pressure force on the furrow opener can be adjusted up to a maximum of 350 kg.
Furthermore, the seed row press wheel is positioned in line with the seed metering unit, which guarantees ideal copying and precise seed depth regardless of soil contour.
Depth adjustment step – 10 mm
The DSX seed drill offers many seeding options, as it can be equipped to sow 4 solid materials and 1 liquid material simultaneously.
They are equipped with two seed distribution heads, each of which distributes material onto its own row of the seeder frame, meaning it is possible to sow on every other row or, for example, sow two crops on separate rows.
The DSX third-generation planter is equipped with Undercut (X=10 degrees; Y=7 degrees) monoslopes are able to cut soil significantly more effectively than traditional vertical design openers. The result = the DSX seed drill will provide consistent and precise seed placement even in challenging conditions. The sloped soil opener naturally link in light soil, which means less weight is needed on it, less traction power is required and less soil is compacted, allowing the plant to develop its root system.
The seed is placed beneath a raised soil layer, which greatly facilitates the complete closure of the furrow and ensures excellent moisture retention in dry conditions.
The recommended working speed for the opener to avoid soil throwing is up to 12 km/h.
The furrow closer is equipped with a pneumatic cushion, the pressure of which can be adjusted from the tractor cab. The closing force is quickly and easily adjustable in the range of 6-90 kg. Combined with the custom-shaped cast steel closing wheel, the DSX is the leading direct drilling seed coulter in furrow closing.
Horizon Agriculture MDSX provides the same sowing benefits as the flagship DSX model.
It is a front-mounted and can be used with the Horizon Agriculture FH2200 front-mounted drill (or a drill from another manufacturer already on the farm).

Horizon Agriculture over 15 years of experience in the successful application of strip-tillage technologies worldwide.
Based on this extensive knowledge base, Horizon SPX and is carefully designed to be easily adapted for various needs and working conditions.

Strip-tillage combines the benefits of conventional soil cultivation with the soil-conserving advantages of no-till technology. This method reduces the risk of erosion, improves soil structure, promotes soil health, and provides a more stable base for agricultural machinery.
Strip-tillage It is a low-intensity, targeted soil cultivation method where only a narrow strip of soil is cultivated where the crop is to be sown. This means that cultivated strips alternate with strips covered with uncultivated soil and plant residues, which together occupy approximately two-thirds of the field area.
Leaving these untouched crop residue zones between cultivation strips significantly reduces the risk of erosion, improves soil structure and health, and also provides a more stable surface for agricultural machinery.
For farmers whose soils are too complex for complete no-till, strip tillage allows for breaking up the soil and reducing compaction, while minimally impacting soil microbes and organic matter.
The PPX will ensure each sown seed is optimally incorporated and germinates evenly.
Or Precision Planting Technology Employee PPX Planter It is designed to place the seed precisely in the optimal growth medium, but even in the most complex circumstances.
Large amounts of plant residues, tough, straw-like stubble or uneven, cloddy strip-till seedbeds – these are just some of the situations that the PPX can handle without difficulty.
PPX not only works effectively in such challenging conditions — it also real-time data collection a vehicle automatic regulation, come cat seed to ensure the best possible growth environment

CleanSweep – Pneumatic cylinder-operated stubble cleaners, controlled from the tractor cab. Cleans rows of stubble with simple and quick adjustment (recommended for direct drilling technology);
VSET dispenser – can be equipped with interchangeable seeding discs depending on the seed being sown. Seed placement accuracy is mainly affected by seeds of different sizes and variable shapes. The Vset dispenser is equipped with a seed agitator which eliminates the probability of yield loss due to sowing too densely or too sparsely. No adjustment is necessary for varying seed sizes.;
Furrow Force – a correctly closed furrow should be free of air pockets, the seedling would have an easy path to emerge from the soil, and the furrow would be able to retain enough moisture within it. Furrow Force is a pneumatic, automated two-stage furrow closing system capable of ensuring the best possible furrow closure and subsequent plant development;
Delta Force – Delta Force is an automated, continuous hydraulic pressure control system for the proper functioning of each seeder row, regardless of soil conditions. It is not important if the conditions are soft or hard, as this system can quickly regulate the actual hydraulic pressure required for each row, ensuring that the seed is at the correct depth and the seed furrow is not compacted, regardless of the conditions.;
Smartfirmer – Seed coulter with a built-in soil sensor that slides along the furrow base. This is a sensor that provides information about the environment in which the seed is being placed. The sensor can provide information on soil temperature, soil moisture, furrow uniformity, the amount of crop residue in the furrow, and can determine the soil's organic matter content, thus making it possible to apply a variable seeding rate based on the information provided by this sensor regarding the amount of organic matter in the soil.;
20|20 control panel – a control panel that not only provides information about the seeder's operation, but also, using several seeder sensors, provides real-time data about the soil that will help in making correct agronomic decisions.
