To ensure continuous operation, the throughput of the chain conveyors is matched to other PRECO conveying equipment. This means that the theoretical throughput of the chain conveyors will be greater than that of bucket elevators or feeding conveyors.

The conveyor's geared motor, as standard equipment, includes a power reserve for the motor, taking into account receiving pit conditions and operation with a frequency converter. The geared motor speed for the B type conveyor is the same as for a standard K model chain conveyor. To maintain the principle of coordinated capacity, the double-sided inlets are equipped with flow control gates. This allows regulating the grain level inside the conveyor, enabling further material transport system operation without overload and at maximum flow rate.
